Cement Leveling
When laying cement, it is imperative to have a flush, even finish.
If the floor is not fixed and on a level pitch when laid then further complications can arise in the future.
When laying and leveling cement contractors and technicians have to take in to account several factors.
As long as the base area is level prior to the cement being applied and the cement is smoothed and worked properly by skilled technicians, then a perfect level cement surface can be achieved.
Of course this is not always the case, and unfortunately some times cement, no matter how skilled the contractor, can be uneven to a certain extent.
Small imperfections and unevenness can be remedied by of course by patching the affected area.
A sound and level cement base should always be achieved no matter if you are tiling on top or laying vinyl, by ensuring that your cement is level you will be able to achieve a far better finish no matter what your chosen covering is, and as such you will avoid problems in the future such as potential further sinking or cracking.
