Repair Sunken Concrete

Concrete is an amazing building material mainly due to its strength and weight. It can be used for a multitude of different applications.

However one of its strengths, its weight, can be a curse.

Over time and with regular wear and tear concrete can become damaged, and depending on the foundations on which it was laid it can indeed sink due to the pressure it exerts on the area below it.

However it is easy to repair sunken concrete, by mudjacking, also known as slabjacking or concrete lifting.

Mudjacking is the name given to the process of lifting and repairing sunken concrete, by skilled mudjacking technicians.

First off the mudjacking team will start by drilling golf ball size holes in the affected area at pre determined sites.

Then a grout will be pumped through the holes and under the sunken concrete, which will lift the area to a level plane.

Once this is done the mudjacking technicians will then patch over the drilled holes, leaving the concrete repaired and level.

The beauty of using mudjacking to repair sunken concrete is in its speed, more often then not the repaired area can be used within minutes of the process being finished, and within 24 to 48 hours the concrete can take heavier loads such as cars etc. (please check with your technician at the time)

Also mudjacking is far cheaper then ripping out and replacing the damaged concrete and causes far less disruption to your home or commercal property.

So what are you waiting for, call in the mudjacking experts today and start the process of repairing your sunken concrete.
